Situation
The international Beiersdorf eBrand management produces monthly evaluations in the form of management summaries from data extracted from a standard web analysis system. However this tool is antiquated and makes it impossible to arrive at detailed analyses without considerable effort due to its unwieldy user interface. Potential opportunities for optimising the international corporate website are often noticed too late and missed for this reason.
The aim of the project is to optimise the web statistics quality and usability of the application. To this end, a web analysis tool will be constructed and tailored to the needs of the client, which will make genuine live logging and real-time evaluations a possibility.
Solution
DDD and Beiersdorf have decided to construct a brand new tool due to the special requirements placed on it. The tailored solution allows real-time analysis and performance evaluations for different pages, sections and countries.
DDD's tasks include the software development, maintenance and high-performance hosting.
